Keshinro Ololade,is a Nigerian Rap artist, singer and song writer popularly known by his stage name Lil Kesh.
Keshinro Ololade ( Lil Kesh ) was born to Yoruba parents in Bariga, Lagos State. He had his primary and secondary school education at Stockbridge College, Bariga. Lil Kesh took interest in dancing before he settled for music.
His Music carer started in 2012 and thereafter shortly rose to fame after his chart-topping song titled "Shoki" which rose to critical acclaim from music critics and was widely played at various clubs, radio stations across Nigeria.
Born and raised in Bariga, a densely populated suburb of Lagos State, Lil Kesh was signed on the Olamide's Music record Label YBNL on a two years recording contract, during which the music artist released several hit songs like "Lyrically" "Shoki" e.t.c.
Lil Kesh refused to signed a renew recording contract with YBNL records after the contract expired in April 216 and is currently signed under his own Label, YAGI Records (YAGI is an acronym for "Young and Getting it" ), with support from his former boss, Olamide, The new Label was disclosed to fans on April 26, 2016, via Instagram that he has established his own label imprint called YAGI Records.
Lil Kesh on 2 April 2014, signed his first music contract with YBNL Nation.
The release of "Lyrically", a single that quickly became popular in Nigerian Universities pushed the artist to the spotlight and made him famous among young Nigerians. In 2015, he was nominated in the Best New Act to Watch category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Through YBNL Nation, Lil Kesh released "Shoki", a song which got him nominated in the Best Street-Hop Artiste category at The Headies 2014 while "Shoki Remix" which featured guest appearances from Olamide and Davido got nominated in the Hottest Single of the Year at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
On 23 February 2015, Lil Kesh released a song titled "Gbese" ,produced by Young Jonn with video featuring appearances from duo of music artist, Skuki.11 June 2015, he was nominated in the Best New Act to Watch category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and went on to be nominated at the 2015 Headies Award for Next Rated.
On 17th March,, 2016, Lil Kesh released his debut studio album titled Y.A.G.I which was positively received. The album features guest appearances from notable music acts including Olamide, Phyno, Davido, Adekunle Gold, YCEE, Wale, Viktoh and Patoranking.
