Waje is a popular Nigerian female music artist know for are good vocal skills. She was born in the Akure in Ondo state, to the family or Mr and Mrs Iruobe, the family later relocated to Benin City in Edo state, where the female Music fame was undergoing some form of musical developement for are future music career, having been part of a choir group at the then Church of God misson international founded by the late cleric, Arch. Bishop Benson Idahosa , she was so impressive that she was noticed by the Church head and given a boost and support through her secondary Education.
A bachelors graduate of Social work from University of Nigeria, Nnsukka in Enugu state, waje was a very active member of the institutions fellowship, where she further develop her music skills, attending several music concerts, music shows and talent hunt while still studying for her career.
Her professional singing career started in 2007/2008, featuring in the hit music singles of Nigerian pop music duo of Psquare. Waje was the female voice that sang alongside Psquare in the track " Do me", this single exposure in a song that was a hit and enjoyed big radio and television air play and reviews accross Europe and Africa gave the music diva a big leap i her career.
in the same period in view, Waje was a contestant in a music TV reality organized by MTV Base South Africa and Zain Nigeria, where she came 1st runner up.
