Biography (M.I.) : Nigeria rap and hip hop sensation Jude Abaga, popularly know as M.I was born in Jos, Plateau State. to his parents, Pastor and Mrs Abaga from Takum in Taraba state,Nigeria. M.I started gaining popularity in 2003 after the release of his mixed tape "Safe" (a song which saw M.I. , Jude Abaga playing with major lyrics from several Nigeria music artist) Jude Abaga in 2006 released his song titled "Crowd mentality", the music singles released by the Music act received great acceptance and air play accross several radio stations and Music jockey in Nigeria and his home town of Jos, where he started out his music career before shifting His Music base to Abuja and subsequently Lagos.

Jude Abaga, M.I. is the present chief executive officer (C.e.o) of Chocolate city, a music recording label in Nigeria that have signed popular Nigerian music artist like  Jesse Jagz (M.I 's brother, Ice Prince, Brymo (who later left the record lable, following irreconcilabe difference with the chocolate city record label and a law suit restraining the artist), others are new female music artist Victoria Kimani, music duo of Kahli Abdu and VHS Safari, both of which were publicly revealed to Fans on June 19, 2015 in Lagos, NigeriA at afropolitan vibes. 

Before becoming  the c.e.o of chocolate city music group, M.I  back in his days in Jos while trying to sell his talent had created LOOPY records alongside his brother, Jesse Jagz, Ruby, Threadstone,IcePrince,E kelly, Lindsay, Moses (Elbulk), but later moved to Abuja from Jos when he was signed as an artist to chocolate city Music company. 

M.I. On 11 December 2008, released the critically acclaimed hip hip album "Talk about it" which had great punch line hip hop track "anoti anoti"

M.I like every other Music artist have had their fair share of controversy and rivary with fellow Nigerian Music artist, Kelly Handsome: This feud started when M.I. in his track Fast Money, Fast Cars included a line, "Kelly Hansome is handsome, I'll tell him when I see him. But if I want a man, it'd be Keke or D1". Not finding things funy Kelly Hansome and M.I. have both gone head to head,track for track with Kelly Hansome releasing Catch Me If You Can, where he goes in on the whole Chocolate City label. In response, the Choc City camp released Nobody Test Me with a line from M.I talking directly to Kelly Hansome, saying, " Only one Kelly that I know, Kelly Rowland. Why would I diss them, give them cheap promotion. I think that they're so dry, I should give them lotion". Later, Kelly Hansome released Chocolate Boys (Chocolate City members). M.I. released a track on his 2010 album, M.I.2 named Beef. With Kelly hearing this, brought out the track Finish You Boy.

The chocolate city executive and hip hop musician has won several awards and recognition, starting 2008 when he finally became a household name following the release of "Talk About It" album.
