Desmond Oluwashola Elliot is a Lagos indigene from Lagos Island, born on February 4 1974. 

Desmond Elliot is a popular Nigerian Male actor, who has starred in several nollywood home movies,played over two hundred roles in the movie Producing industry in Nigeria and television drama series such as Everyday People, Saints and Sinners. Aside appearing in Films on several Nollywood movies, Mr Elliot is also involved in Movie Production and Directing. 

His film, "Reloaded" which was released in 2008, won nominations in 2009 at the African Movies Academy awards. He studied Economics at the the Lagos State government owned University of Lagos in Ojo Local government area of the state. 

 Desmond Elliot is married to Mrs Victoria Elliot and are blessed with 4 children (Desmond, Denzel, Donald and Dona).

 In september 2014, the popular nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot made public is intention to
represent Surulere in the Lagos State House of Assembly, starting his political career under the All Progressive Congress (APC) a major opposition party, hoping to unseat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Federal level in 2015 General Elections.

 Desmond Olushola Elliot aside acting is also brand ambassador for Nigeria's Indigene and Second largest mobile telecommunications network provider, Globacom, owned by the Business mogul, Mike Adenuga.
