Mike Adenuga whose full names are Michael Adeniyi  Ishola Agbolade Adenuga was born 29th April 1953 to Oloye Micheal Agbolade Adenuga senior in Ibadan, Western Nigeria. His mother,  Juliana Oyindamola Adenuga is from a royal Family in Ijebu Igbo.

Mike Adenuga has the owner of Consolidated Oil Company (now CONOIL) was the first Local company to discover Oil in commercial quantity in Ondo State in the year 1991, shortly after receiving drilling licence in 1990.

Adenuga is also the founder of Nigeria's second largest mobile network provider, Globacom, which was founded in 2003 and have over 27 million active subscribers in Nigeria.

Mike Adenuga is also a major share holder in Equatorial Trust Bank, now Sterling Bank.

He is ranked in forbes list as the second richest Nigerian after Aliko Dangote, with a net worth of 4.3 billion dollars (Forbes Estimates of March 2013)

 Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested and detained Mike Adenuga on money laudry charges in 2009, but was later granted State pardon by the late President, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.

He received the second highest Honour award by Nigerian Government in Nigeria in 2012 as  Grand Commander of the Order of Niger.

Adenuga is married with Children; Tunde Adenuga, Eniola Adenuga, Tunde Paddy Abolade, Michael Babajide Adenuga, Adetutu Oyindamilola Emilia, Bella Adenuga-Disu.
