Don Jazzy had his early life and education in ajegunle, a town in Lagos,Nigeria widely regarded as getto slum of the ever busy and industral state. He graduated from ambrose Ali university, in Ekpoma in Edo state with a degree in Business management, after which he went in search of greener pasture abroad in the year 2000, His passion for music and giftens in playing musical instrument earned him an invite from his uncle to play drums for a local church congregation in the United Kingdom, from then onward he developed his musical skills which was later to make him an household name in Nigeria and other parts of the World. He returned back to his country of birth and founded Mo'hit records in 2004 alongside his friend and partner D'banj, under this partnership he produce the hit song that brought the duo into limelight as an award winning producer, musician and song writer.
in 2005 he produce D'banjs debut album "No Long Thing"

He has worked with numerous artist both in Nigeria and abroad, notably among these artist are: D'banj, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D'Prince, Darey art alade, Ikechukwu, sauce kid,Jay Z, Kanye West, Beyonce (on project album Watch The Throne, track lift up which was released August 8th 2011)

In 2011 he was signed by Kanye west into GOOD music as a producer.
In 2012 he parted ways with D'banj, then vice president of Mo'hits records following issues that both partners failed to resolve.

on may 7 2012 Don Jazzy made a come back and founded MAVIN Records alongside some Mo'hits artists like Wande coal, Dr. Sid, Tiwa salvage, D' Prince.
Wande coal later left MAVIN Records in November 2013 after fight with Don Jazzy who accussed him of stealing his Interlactual music property.
He has won many awards to his credit as a song writer and Music producer.
