Vetran Nigerian Nollywod Actor, Olu Jacobs is an Alumni of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in England, where he studied. prior before then He attended Holy Trinity School in Northern State of Kano,Nigeria.

Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs (popularly refer to as Olu Jacob in the Nigerian Movie 

industry scene) was born in 1942 to a Yoruba parents from Egba Alake of Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria.

Olu Jacob is Married to Joke Silva, who is also actress in the Nigerian Movie scene, Nollywood and MTN Project Fame Counselor/Instructor.

Since the start of his Acting career in 1970, Olu Jacobs has featured in over 150 Nigerian movies such as Adesuwa (released, 2012),Eyes of the God a movie directed by Andy Amenechi, released in 2004 and several British Television series; The Goodies, Barlow at Large, Angels, The tomorrow people among others.
